Property info

I have lived my whole live in Amsterdam and for the last 15 years in this new part; the old docklands. This neighborhood is a mix of old and new buildings, surrounded by water, and stunning contemporary architecture. It’s a very relaxed, green and hip part of Amsterdam. Children still play on the street and people sit outside on the pavement in front of their house when the weather is nice. You will find lot of shops here and many nice restaurants (some of them with a terrace on the waterfront). After a visit to the noisy and hectic city center it’s great to return to the quiet, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere of my neighborhood. Can’t wait to welcome you at Eastendroom.

Neighborhood info

Eastendroom has a private entrance and a patio where you can have breakfast, enjoy a glass of wine or watch life in Amsterdam pass by. Eastendroom is situated in one of the newest neighbourhoods of Amsterdam, on the island Sporenburg in the Eastern Docklands. The former docklands have been transformed into an attractive, modern residential area with a mix of old and modern architecture. The area is completely surrounded by water and has a dinstinctive look. See: (URL HIDDEN) Although the district is located close to the busy city centre of Amsterdam, it is an oasis of calm. In warmer weather you will find residents sitting outside at the door. Children play in the streets and there is no through traffic. Stops for public traffic (bus and tram) are just a 3 minute walk. By express tram you are only three stops away from the Amsterdam Central train station.
