Flo has created an incredibly warm and welcoming B&B in her large Atelier.
De Gietershof
This luxury, quirky and very cozy bed and breakfast is located on the 1st floor of a 19th century factory building called “De Gietershof”; a former church bell foundry. De Gietershof overtime gradually converted to high-end residential apartments and artists studio’s. This B&B is situated in the part of Flo’s large apartment that she uses as her atelier.
Family Studio
You will have a large part of Flo’s apartment all to yourself. The B&B offers a cozy kingsize “bedstee” master-bedroom shaped as a tiny house. The B&B has a spacious living room/open kitchen area (fully equipped) and a large office/playroom with 4 large bunk beds and cupboards full of boardgames. Your large private bathroom has a double shower. And the utility cupboard has a washing-machine and dryer only for you to use. Dogs are welcome. After a fun day in Amsterdam, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Flo’s B&B is your ideal home base.
Flo is a Dutch Design Engineer, Interior Designer & Visual Artist who loves to be around people. She is extroverted, welcoming and full of energy. She love a game of Bananagrams. She has put in years of energy to create her perfect home, which makes this B&B very lovely and comfortable. She hobbies as a tour boat captain on the canals of Amsterdam and thus knows everything about the city. You can ask her to fill the fridge, make reservations etc. You'll really like her.
Flo’s Atelier is located in “de Jordaan”, an area in the heart of Amsterdam, famous for its cute streets and openminded inhabitants. Street-parking is available everywhere (pricy). Tour boats, museums, restaurants and other sights & shopping are at a strolling distance. The Anne Frank House is 5 minutes away (make a reservation). Near to Flo’s apartment (1 minute walk) is a cosy cafe/restaurant called Moods. Ceasar, the owner of Moods, serves great coffees and a delicious breakfast (which can even be delivered). The kitchen in Flo’s atelier is fully equipped so you can also have breakfast at home. Flo can fill the pantry with lots of great (local) foods and drinks if you like.
