Fort Resort Beemster is located in a UNESCO monument. The unique fort has been transformed into a luxurious eco chic wellness resort. The luxurious rooms and suites have beautiful views over the Fortgracht. The Poterne Restaurant is the best kept secret of the Beemste and is recommended by Michelin. The Poterne restaurant is adjacent to the Poterne terrace, surrounded by high grass dikes, lounge sofas, fireplace and lounge tent with bar and kitchen. This restaurant serves seasonal dishes with organic products from the region. The beautiful rooms were designed by Osiris Hertman and equipped with all amenities. In the wellness resort you will find unique saunas, including a botanical sauna, kelosauna, and panoramic sauna. Several outdoor and indoor pools, herbal bath, salt water pool and a spa with various relaxing massages, facial treatments and hammam De Beemster is located 8.1 mi from Volendam, on the coast of the IJsselmeer. Amsterdam is 18 mi away and the beaches and dunes of Castricum At Sea are 23 mi away
