Am Fuße einer alten Buche liegt Het Beukenootje (Buchecker Cottage), ein hübsches Ferienhaus (110 m²) mit einem geräumigen Wohnzimmer, einer großen Küche (voll ausgestattet) mit Essbereich. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es außerdem ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett (mit zwei getrennten Matratzen und Bettdecken) mit Doppelwaschbecken und einer geräumigen ebenerdigen Dusche am Ende des Flurs mit getrennter Toilette. Im ersten Stock – unter der Dachschräge – befindet sich ein zweites Schlafzimmer mit Waschbecken. Wenn Sie durch die Terrassentüren gehen, befinden Sie sich auf einer Terrasse mit einem Picknicktisch. Da die Terrasse tagsüber teilweise durch die Buche beschattet wird, können Sie über einen Gartenweg auf die umzäunte Rasenfläche mit Korbsitzplatz gelangen und dort bis in die späten Abendstunden die Sonne genießen.
Eigentlich ist einen direkten Kontakt nicht notwendig (der Schluessel befindet sich im Schluesselschrank am Haus), aber für den Fall das Fragen oder Problemen sind, ich bin immer zu erreichen (wohne im Haus nebenan).
Das Buchecke Cottage liegt in Aerdenhout, in der Nahe vom Bahnhof Heemstede-Aerdenhout. Ca. 4,5 km entfernt ist der Badeort Zandvoort mit ihre F1 Rennstrecke und auch die gemuetliche Stadt Haarlem ist unweit entfernt. 1 km von hier entfernt ist der Düneneingang (Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen), wo sich am Eingang ein sehr gemütliches Pfannenkuchenhaus befindet. Gegenüber ist das Landgut Leyduin mit herrlichen Wanderwege und ebenfalls ein Restaurant. Egal ob schönes oder slechtes Wetter, es gibt immer etwas zu tun!
