This family-run B&B is a floating-villa moored on the IJ-Lake in Amsterdam IJburg, the most innovative and famous new urbanization in Netherlands. La Corte Sconta B&B offers covered parking, parking for electric vehicles, and bicycle rental. Amsterdam Central Station is 12 minutes by tram. Each individually decorated room is enriched with elements of design or craftsmanship. All the rooms have a flat-screen TV, water kettle, fan, and fast WiFi. Three rooms have a shared bathroom which is fitted with a bath and shower. The Family Room has two spacious private bathrooms and does not share any space with other guests. Every morning you can request your personalized breakfast starting from €5. Within a 10-minute walk from La Corte Sconta B&B, there is a variety of cafes, brasseries, restaurants, and fast food, as well as the local market on weekends. The perfect starting point for your journey by bike or even on foot. Easy access to Arena Stadio, Ziggo Dome, Zandvoort (F1 circuit), Diemer Park and Muiderslot. Only 492 feet away from the iconic Sluishuise where you can admire a spectacular view over the city. From Amsterdam Central Station you have direct links to Rijksmuseum, Leidseplein, Dam Square, Anne Frank House, Zaanse Schans, and Keukenhof. The airport is only 15 minutes drive from B&B. Welcome to my wonderful houseboat! I live here with my two children Rocco and Dante. You may have understood that I come from Italy! I left my hometown Venice and my "adopted city" Rome, spent 10 years traveling to different continents and finally I chose to move here in Netherlands five years ago, to try to make a change of my life. I have found a wonderful and exciting city that can give back a lot from hard work. In addition to the "cancer" like me who love sea, open spaces bright and clean but at the same time be able to find any stimulus from a dynamic and cosmopolitan city, I found the perfect place to continue my journey!

Property info

Houseboat in the most innovative district of Amsterdam. At 12 minutes by tram from the station you will reach an area free from the many tourists who flock to the city and full of water and green space. Guests can experience the best of this district through the houseboat that will make your stay unique. Each room has a double bed, TV or computer and other services. The shared bathroom features a large shower over the bath. cleaning the bathroom is provided daily. Breakfast tailored to particular allergies or special requests. Possibility bike rental. Free cot in the more large rooms. Also available the "Luxury Houseboat" where you can get a Houseboat totally private and independent for your holidays. from SCHIPHOL - take the train directly from the airport to central station. There are every 15-20 minutes, and the trip takes about 15 minutes. The cost 5 eur. from CENTRAL STATION - n26 tram station in front of the left side, and get off after 12 min "Steigereiland" (2.90 eur \ person). The ticket (single or daily) you can buy in the tram. Off the tram cross the street on the left side. Follow the lake road to the end and you will see on the right houseboats. 2nd pier at No. 20

Neighborhood info

A good alternative to the chaos of the city to rediscover the tranquility with an original houseboat just 12 minutes by tram from Central Station. The floating house is in the neighborhood of Ijburg recently built. Typical Dutch management of the sea along with the care and originality of the building. Everything in a residential neighborhood, young and cosmopolitan. Nearby there is the possibility of use of shops, supermarkets and places to rest or eat. Parking in loco (14 EUR \ Day) or possibility of using the price P + R (website: iamsterdam, park and ride). Bike: Excellent starting point to visit the city center or to get lost among the many parks Amsterdam or area. Tram 26 is one of the few city tram that will allow you to enter with the bike in order to reach the station in 10 minutes and also many destinations through the line of regional trains. According to availability we offer a rent bikes for a fee, alternatively there are many possibilities for rent a bike.

-This B&B does not have a 24 7 reception. The check in time is from 14:30 to 15:30.

Guests who arrive before 14:30 can leave their luggage for free and take the keys so they may return at any time. Guests who arrive after 16:00 must inform the B&B to avoid extra charges. After 19:00 an extra fee applies.

-The check out time is by 10:00.

-To comply with the city limit of 4 guests the booking is considered confirmed if no invalid reservation notice is received within the first 3 to 5 min. If everything is fine a confirmation email will follow.

-Some rooms cannot be booked together. The family room is not compatible with any room with shared bathroom. The triple room is not compatible with a double room.

-Rooms with shared bathroom share the bathroom with only one other room if present.

The family room has a private bathroom.

- Rates with breakfast included cover the Italian breakfast. Extra services are also available such as parking, late arrival, late departure, extra beds and baby cots.

-Breakfast can be chosen directly at the property. Italian breakfast,5€-13€ (sweet breakfast), continental breakfast 18-22€ (sweet and salty breakfast) and English breakfast (salty breakfast) 25€ are available.

-Guests must inform the property after booking if they plan to bring a pet. An extra fee applies.
