This unique, rustic space by the water on the ground floor of our waterfront villa is completely private and offers everything you need. If you’ve booked breakfast, you’ll receive a voucher for 'De Bakkersfiets', an excellent bakery offering local products and delicious Illy coffee (5★ on Tripadvisor). You can enjoy your breakfast there or take it to go. Of course, our B&B is fully equipped for preparing your own breakfast, with a coffee machine, kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, plates, and cutlery. There are no cooking facilities, however. Just a 3-minute walk away, you’ll find a shopping center with two supermarkets, a bakery, fishmonger, and butcher. On Saturdays, there’s a market with fresh products. Nearby, there are several breakfast spots, including 'Bagels & Beans', 'De Bakkersfiets', and 'Espressofabriek'. We have dining tables both inside and outside, so you can enjoy our beautiful garden and the view over the water. The room is modernly furnished (Dutch Design) and features a large sliding door that opens onto the garden and the floating terrace. From here, you can explore the water-rich surroundings in a two-person canoe. There is also a small dock where you can moor your boat. Parking in the garden is free. The studio is non-smoking; you may smoke outside, but hash or other drugs are not permitted. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

We (Jan & Marjolein) are both designers and run our own design label: DOGGERdesign. We love creating a pleasant and inspiring environment. Jan enjoys designing gardens, and Marjolein works on theatre, musicals, and interior design projects. For several years, we’ve been running ROOM WITH A FEW, and we love meeting guests from all over the world. Weather permitting, we enjoy organizing boat trips around the area, or you can join Jan on a boat ride from the B&B into the city. He has plenty of fascinating stories about Amsterdam’s history along the way. We look forward to welcoming you soon to our unique and beautiful place;-)

IJburg is a modern neighborhood with interesting architecture, just 15 minutes by tram 26 from the historic city center. It is a peaceful, green, and water-rich area with canals, a harbor, and two beaches. You can swim, sail, kitesurf, or go canoeing. There is a large park with sports fields, walking and cycling paths, playgrounds, and a small farm with horses, pigs, goats, and chickens. The harbor has cozy terraces and restaurants, and there are several take-away options. It’s the perfect base to enjoy both the tranquility of nature and the buzz of the city.
