I actually wanted to spend more on each room, the furniture, the decor, and the many details... my husband and I simply didn't see eye to eye on this :-). But I love my little hideaway in the heart of Amsterdam.

Typical for Amsterdam, my house has many, many stairs and no elevator . I want to give you a feeling of "home" in these rooms. Modern, high-quality furniture, designer pieces, and above all, many small, lovingly selected details. Whenever I find great pieces at a flea market, I hope you, as guests, will enjoy them. Typical for Amsterdam, my house has many, many stairs and no elevator . In addition to the large terrace for all guests on the second floor, there is also the communal kitchen on the ground floor right by the entrance (so you don't have to carry your shopping far!). There, in addition to a record player – with Dutch LPs – there is also an induction stove, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a dining table. Please always tidy up after you've created your own magic. There's also a dishwasher!

Our neighbors in this historic place are all locals. Lawyers, midwives, judges, journalists, and creative professionals live close together here – in the heart of the city, yet away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the incredible number of tourists.
