With the Top 11 programme and the Pole Hunt, mountain trips become extra fun for both children and adults. Winter: In winter, the area transforms into a snow-covered paradise with over 200 km of prepared cross-country ski trails, two ski facilities (Golsfjellet Alpine Centre and Storefjell Ski and Sledding Centre) and wonderful sledding slopes for children. On Tisleifjorden, you'll find one of Norway's most beautiful natural skating and kick-sledge tracks, and IceDrive offers high-speed driving on the ice track nearby. Experiences and mountain life: Take a trip to a local mountain pasture and taste authentic pasture food – at Øynebråten pasture, you'll be served sour cream porridge, waffles and fresh milk cream in idyllic surroundings.
