Ahu is set 350metres above sea level overlooking the ocean. Our street leads to a historic maori pa site and scenic view points. There is plenty of flora and fauna and being elevated means Ahu is in a high wind zone so big weather and ever changing conditions are commonplace . You will truly feel on the edge of the world. Piha has no petrol station and no ATM machine so plan ahead for your trip and come with a full tank of petrol and all your groceries. Local businesses accept cards. Piha Rides offers a shuttle service upon request.
