Alloa Petite was originally the accomodation for the farm cook & gardener. In early 2023 it was completely refurbished & decorated. Being just over 1 hours drive from Wellington it is an ideal location for a weekend or mid week retreat. The historic village of Greytown is 7kms away whilst the wine village of Martinborough is 20kms. Homemade Muesli, bacon, eggs, bread with a variety of condiments are provided complimentary being enough for two mornings in addition to home baking The cottage is a peaceful place to relax & unwind.
We are excited to welcome you to Alloa Petite. We do our best to make sure you are comfortable and welcome any suggestions or advice.
Tauherenikau is in South Wairarapa and home to the infamous country racecourse. It is close to cycle trails, wineries, boutique shopping & eateries. Additionally the iconic Tin Hut has just re-opened under the name Mother Goose. It is a short walk there from the cottage to enjoy events, meals and the pub garden.
