113 On Park is a new Bed and Breakfast in Winton the Heart of Central Southland population 2000. It is a farming service town between Queenstown and Invercargill. Winton has all the amenities with banks,hotels,cafes,shops, schools etc. Our new B&B has a Queen Room with en suite and the Deluxe Twin with your own bathroom and toilet. Our Continental breakfast consists of stewed apricots/rhubarb/plums,toast ,homemade jam,yogurt,fruit juice and cereals. There are tennis courts , children's play area, skateboarding, netball all at the new Sports Stadium close by. The new 10k Walking cycling trail around Winton is a jewel in it's crown so bring your bike and walking boots.
Isabel and Allan ran the award wining Ashworth Gardens B&B for five years, sold and closed it to hopefully do the same in our new home. We love meeting people from all walks of life and different from countries and welcome our guests with a drink and biscuits and share experiences. Allan has set up a section in the garage for his mini Museum with collectibles he has purchased and acquired for many years. It is for the guests to enjoy and to look back on memories of yesteryear.
There are many drives you can do around the countryside of Winton. The trip to Invercargill in just 20 minutes away on a straight road where you can go shopping , stroll around Queens Gardens ,visit the world famous Richardson Truck and Motor Bike Museum. Drive 30 min to to Riverton a popular beach resort. Day trips to Te Anau, Manapouri , Ohai, Otatatau, Catlins, Tuatapere, Bluff and Gore. all within 1.5 hours. Winton has a New World (grocery supplies) Mitre10 (hardware) bakery, cafes, library and banks.
