We are delighted to announce we have for the 10th Year in a row been awarded the 2023 Travellers Choice Award Best of the Best Award, this being in the top 10% of the world accommodations. We have spent the past few months from April to September 2023 renovating the property to showcase Bayview Valley Lodge at its best for the season ahead. We are located on 3000 sq ft of land at the top of the Wharekaho Valley in Whitianga we offer a location that is just 6 km from the center of town but set in a peaceful location with full Valley and Pacific Ocean views from every room. We have painted the entire house and refitted both the Tui and Kupe Suites with new paint, carpets, new downlights with 3 settings, new curtains, and bed linen to ensure your stay is a comfortable one. The property backs onto National DOC Land, meaning nature and wildlife are our neighbors. The property has a beautiful New Hot Spa Pool with the Best View in Whitianga of the Valley and the Pacific Ocean by day and Stars and the Milky Way by night. We have a Fruit Orchard as well as a Lime Tree Orchard. Our Breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day, with Homemade Fresh Bread, Fresh Fruit Salad, a choice of Cereals as well as Yogurt and Preserves, and a choice of eggs, plus fresh coffee Latte, Cappucino and a selection of Teas

We are located in Ohuka Park at the top of Centennial Drive, this area offers the feel of Rural Whitianga, whilst being only 6 km's away from the center of town, what are the benefits of staying here?. Located at the end of a long driveway you will find Bayview Valley Lodge, with no street lamps and a one-way road, this means peace and quiet are assured, whilst the views will take your breath away. We are blessed to have wildlife wander through our property and this is always a delight to our visiting guests. We ask when arriving and departing from the lodge that you drive slowly on the main driveway.
