Right opposite is the beautiful and very safe Maraetai Beach in a very serene and peaceful part of Auckland. My name is Tina and I am very proud to call myself a Kiwi girl, I feel very lucky and grateful that I was born and bought up in this beautiful, peaceful country - New Zealand! My husband and I love to meet visitors from all over the world, having done a bit of travelling ourselves. We are very sociable and friendly and can be as interactive as you would like us to be during your stay. We are happy to assist you in any way and give you tips about ferry timetable, buses, local vineyards etc.

White, sandy beach right across the road from the house. Cafe's and restaurants are all walking distance away. If you want to catch a ferry to Auckland City Centre (Auckland CBD), it's a 5 minute drive to Pine Harbour from the house. And a scenic 30 minute ferry ride into the City! Catch ferries across to Waiheke Island where you will be spoilt for choice - there are wineries and vineyards galore and plenty of fun activities! Note: guests arriving via ferry can be picked up from Pine Harbour wharf by prior arrangement. Friendly Dolphins and Orcas frequently visit the shores - keep an eye out for them! Maraetai Beach Boat Club - a couple of minutes' walk from the house. Formosa Golf Course - only 5 minutes drive away. Boat ramp located 2 mins walk across the road from the house. Safe beach for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding & fishing. You can even hire jet ski's from our next door neighbour! 2 kms away is beautiful Omana Regional Park/Playground/Picnic/BBQ areas and Omana Beach. Take a coastal walk the other way or drive to Duder Regional Park (5kms away). Enjoy Clevedon Farmers Markets, Whitford Markets and Beachlands Farmers Markets on selected weekends, where you will find fresh produce, cheese, home-made baking treats and unique NZ souvenirs. Enjoy the Pine Harbour markets every Friday afternoon. Public transport - buses frequently run to and from local shopping centers. Large, safe children's playground just a few minutes' walk from the house.
