The Bosuns Locker is a renovated 1930 cottage set in 1/2 acre of garden of our family home, with a walkway to the beach. The original house was built in the 1930s and is one of the original in Torbay.
Clive has lived in this family home for 60 years, as a family we have lived here for 26 years. We brought up our 2 girls here , they are now both living and working overseas. We are now both retired but love keeping busy with gardening, cycling and working around the property.We have a dog called Luna a6 year old staffie, she loves to play ball with children . We also have bee hives on the property.
Torbay is on the Northshore of Auckland, we are lucky to have one of the smallest but beautiful beaches at the bottom of the driveway , Waiake Beach. Torbay shops are a small walk away where there are a few restaurants, garage, dairy's small supermarket, bakery's and a good cafe. Long-bay Regional Park is also only a few minutes drive or a 15 minute walk away where there is a splendid long 1 km beach and lots of walkways into the native bush.
