Located in central Masterton, a short walk from shops and restaurants, Bunny cottage is a self contained unit set in the owners front garden. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners pool is available to use in the summer months and also a barbecue.A little stream runs through the property, where you can feed the eels.Parking is on the street just in front of the unit.Breakfast supplies for the first morning are provided and a welcome pack is provided for weekly stays.

We have lived in the Wairarapa for twenty years and enjoy travel, walking, wine and food.We are semi retired(Miranda is a dentist)and are happy to share our knowledge of the region. You are welcome to wander around the garden and pick herbs and flowers .Be as private as you like or pop in for a chat; we love meeting new people and hearing their stories.

Masterton and the nearby shopping area of Kuripuni have a great selection of cafes and restaurants. We have a boutique cinema (and attached eatery), a swimming complex, museums and great parks. A short drive are the towns of Carterton with its Events Centre, historic Greytown and the wineries of Martinborough. There are fabulous walking opportunities in the nearby Tararuas and The Pukaha National Wildlife centre is only 30mins drive.The Wairarapa hosts numerous Events each year from Balloons to the Greytown winter festival and of course The Golden Shears.
