A 35-minute harbour cruise from Downtown Auckland, and you are arriving at Matiatia wharf on the beautiful island Waiheke. Cable Bay Views is a few minutes by taxi from Matiatia. Perfectly situated between two of the islands most loved and well-known vineyards Mudbrick and Cable Bay, featuring a number of dining options at each, cellar door sales and of course wine tastings. Both vineyards are a five-minute walk from the accommodation. We are also an easy 20-minute walk from Oneroa Village where you will find shops, banks, restaurants, art galleries etc. If you fancy a swim, head down the hill from the shops and onto the golden sands of popular Oneroa Beach (a further 5-minutes). If hiking is your thing you can pick up parts of the Te Arahura trail a few meters from the gate. Cable Bay Views sits in a Coastal / Rural / Vineyard Setting. Vineyard Studios have views over Cable Bay Vineyard, native bush and our own grapevines, which you are welcome to pick when they come into season as they are all table grapes! Cable Bay Lodge and Cable Bay House both look over native bush, farmland, the gulf islands and back towards Auckland City. Sunsets here can be pure magic.
