This stunning Villa is nestled amongst established gardens, olive trees and fruit orchards with sweeping views towards Matiatia Bay. A private sanctuary just a few minutes from Oneroa village. This luxurious home is perfect for groups, wonderfully designed so that guests can escape to separate nooks yet large enough to accommodate gatherings and celebrations. This property has all the modern conveniences as well as luxury additions to ensure your stay is effortless and comfortable. Impressive, yet welcoming this grand house is split into two floors. The ground floor comprises an elegant entrance lobby, well-equipped kitchen, open living area and formal dining at one end and a large double bedroom with gas fireplace and separate bathroom at the other. All of these spaces open out to the broad terrace with sheltered outdoor dining, BBQ and snug lounge settings.
Cable Bay Vineyards is a privately owned, boutique vineyard estate located on the stunning west coast of Waiheke Island, just 35 minutes by ferry from Auckland City. Since planting our first vines in 1998, Cable Bay Vineyards has expanded to include a winery, cellar door and two restaurants and has established an enviable reputation for our stunning wines, outstanding food and spectacular views in an elegant and sophisticated setting, with an unrelenting focus on quality and service. With pristine beaches, world class wines, and fantastic cuisine, it’s easy to see why Waiheke Island was voted one of the world’s Top 20 islands by Conde Nast Traveller in 2016, and one of the world’s top 10 regions to visit for 2016 in Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel guide. Cable Bay Villa is centrally located just a few minutes from the passenger ferry at Matiatia and a short walk (15 mins) to the main Oneroa village, making it the perfect spot to base yourself to explore the island. Within walking distance is one of the island's most popular vineyards, Cable Bay Vineyards and Restaurant . Shops and cafes are plentiful at Oneroa Village and the adjacent beach is a fantastic place to swim. Close by, Little Oneroa has a beach side playground perfect for entertaining the kids! The property borders a large covenanted bush area with walking tracks and you’ll notice the abundant birdlife including kereru, fantails and heron. If this is your first introduction to the country, you’ll get a great taste of what NZ has to offer within a truly luxurious setting.
