Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Overlooking Lake Taupo & situated in peaceful Omori you're close to all the local attractions. From boating and fishing on the great Lake, to skiing the slopes of Mt Ruapehu. You're 33 minutes drive from the famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing starting point at Ketetahi & the Tongariro National Park. Just minutes from our bach are lots of lovely local walks in the Omori Kuratau area. Sorry, but there is no WiFi at this property.

Neighborhood info

Omori is a quiet country village on the southern shores of Lake Taupo. There is a general store and self-service petrol station. With 2 main beaches and boat ramps, bringing your boat and jet-ski along is a great idea! You may bring up to 2 pets with you on your holiday - but please be aware that the section is NOT fenced. Cycling and walking are good options in this quiet, safe neighbourhood. The local store and petrol station are just 500m - a 6 minute walk or a 1 minute drive away. The nearest beach & boat ramp at Omori, is 1km from our home. Kuratua beach and boat ramp are 2.6km away. The local supermarket - New World, the medical centre & other shops are situated in Turangi - 16km away - an easy 17 minute drive.
