Rachael and Ron love the rugged beauty of the West Coast of New Zealand. So much so that they have made the investment to move there in 2023 and build a new home on a stunning clifftop location. Rachael has always had a desire to become a host and so we decided to offer up our character cabin for short term accommodation. We lived in the cabin for a year whilst building and made it a little home full of soul, and a special retreat. Rachael is also a celebrant who is passionate about ceremony and ritual. Not only does she perform weddings, funerals and baby naming ceremonies, but she also offers Cacao Ceremonies, seasonal ceremonies and more.. Ron work in IT and has his own website development and management business, as well as working for a local game development company.

There are a number of outdoor adventures awaiting you right outside you doorstep. There is beach access which lets you explore sandy shores and cool waters. The famouse Lighthouse and Seal Colony walk start outside the property and offer breathtaking views and wildlife encounters. The Kawatiri Cycle Trail is also accessed from outside your doorstep provides a scenic walking and cycling adventure through diverse landscapes. Surf enthusiasts will love Tauranga Bay, just minutes drive away. It is a well known prime surfing spot. Although you are immersed in nature, the town of Westport is only 15 minutes drive away. There you wil be able to get groceries, do some shopping and sight seeing.
