The fully self contained downstairs apartment is part the main house where we live. The second bedroom is internal so has no outside window. Fully equipped kitchen and fresh eggs if the chooks have laid. Beds - 1 x queen, 2 x singles. Toilet is separate from the bathroom. The apartment space is all yours - it's locked off from the rest of the house. The grounds are shared and we may sometimes be pottering around doing maintenance. Complimentary EV charging. Free unlimited fast wifi is available through our Starlink satellite. Both bedrooms have wireless cell phone charging built into the bedside lamps. Boats welcome and can be beach launched beside the wharf across the road. Wash-downs ok and filleting table set up. Our neighbour can supply 4wd tractor launching by arrangement. Hot outside shower at the back of the house.

We live upstairs with a guest friendly dog and cat you'll probably not see. We are happy to engage if required or just leave you to it. We can help with local info about the area as Corrine grew up here in Cornwallis. We have lived locally for over 30 years.

Walks at our doorstep include Jubilee Track, McLaughlan Monument, Cornwallis Wharf and Beach. Cornwallis is within the heritage status, Waitakere Ranges Regional park including the Arataki Tourist center. Plenty of opportunities for hiking and walking for all levels. Piha (famous for surfing), Karekare, Te Henga, Anawhata and West coast beaches are about a 45 minute drive away. Whatapu, rated by Sir Peter Blake as one of his top ten favorite places in the world, is a 30 minute drive away. Cornwallis (beach launching) and Huia (ramp) allow for boat launching for fishing the Manukau Harbour and beyond the Manukau Heads into the Tasman Sea. The neighbour can offer all tide 4WD tractor boat launch and retrieval services by arrangement. The house is located about 15-18 minutes drive from Titirangi Village (13km). The small township offers a range of shops, cafes and restaurants, also Art Galleries and a Sunday market. Monthly French Bay street food event. Local food is available from Huia Cafe by Ram & Co, Woodlands Park Burgers and Laingholm Takeaways. A small Supermarket and numerous food outlets, cafe's and restaurant's are at Titirangi village. Larger Supermarket is at Green Bay.
