** Location instructions. The chalet is on a lane off Thames St, adjacent to the railway line. Follow the signs to Station Lodge and continue on past the Railway Museum. 68 Thames is the third chalet. A map is included in the photos. We are very happy to be able to share our Ohakune pad with others. If you are into the outdoors like we are, the central plateau region is an amazing place to explore and Ohakune is the perfect base to do it from. Our chalet is conveniently located at the junction end of town with a short stroll to great coffee, bars and restaurants. One option is to arrive by train and hire bikes to explore the town and all the great local mountain bike tracks. Get ready for the day in a well equipped kitchen. The gas hot water is very hot with fantastic water pressure. End a day of hiking, mountain biking or skiing in the amazing central plateau region with an alfresco drink and views of the mountain.
