Handy for the adventurer.
Handy for the adventurer. Skiing, mountain biking and hiking is all there. Horopito museum, wonderful place to visit even if cars aren’t your thing
Plenty of eateries in town. Always a great atmosphere when the snow is falling.

Magical place, great for outdoor activity, relaxation or just family weekend away. The town offers everything you need - good variety of accommodation and eating out options. There is a number of nice picturesque hikes on the town outskirts or you can drive for just half an how towards Turoa for real mountain adventures.

so much great walking and biking in this region, and the network is growing all the time. Everyone in town was friendly. Pricing of accommodation and bike rental, shuttle very reasonable, esp when you compare to some places like Wanaka down south. Loved it.

The town has a few interesting places (eg the carrot adventure park) but the best part is that it’s so close to the national park. We loved the walking trails, waterfalls and the volcano. We visited in March so it was pretty quiet. Very relaxing.

Excellent and beautiful environment.... we have been many times to Ohakune and enjoy the surrounding area....so beautiful to be in an unspoilt place.

The house has a great view on the mountain. It is located in a quiet place, and it is at 5 min drive from the shopping facilities. the kitchen is very big and well equipped. the pool is great. It is a perfect place for relaxing with family and friends

Located about 450m walk from central Ohakune township, it's a lovely motel with friendly owners.
All modern units with free onsite parking, sky, there is also a hotpool on site, drying room, and each unit has an outside table and chairs to relax in. Provided is free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fresh milk. Also provided is free shampoo, conditioner, soap etc for your use.

Modern little accommodation in the heart of Ohakune. Great size for a couple of nights with modern facilities including smart TV with Netflix. The Thai restaurant at the front was exceptional. We also booked a private spa and thoroughly enjoyed this. Nothing was too much a problem, the staff were excellent and I would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others.

We had an amazing time in Ohakune and phenomenal stay in Ohakune. The accommodation is beautiful and the host was warm, informative and gave us tips on where to eat. We both loved the spa with the speakers and seeing the mountain. Stunning and would highly recommend.

This is a 2-bedroom house that is tidy, clean, and spacious. The person managing the place is friendly and thoughtful. It's the best house I've stayed in while in Ohakune.
