I stayed at multiple cabins during a roadtrip through New Zealand. The cabin from this resort was the best equipped: TV, fridge, microwave, etc. The beds were super comfortable and the cabin spotless clean. The shared kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were clean as well and well equipped. At the same time the price was competitive. The spa (open air swimming pool with hot(!) water) is just few hundred meters walk away. If I would visit Taupo again, I would stay again at this resort.

It is an historic hotel, so the rooms are small, however, the reason for staying was the history and location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is available. Location is central and is perfect for strolling around town and enjoying the waterfront. Dinner was delicious in the hotel restaurant.

I stayed in a garden room at Kennedy Park with my mum on a recent trip. It was easily located, check in was simple and easy to find our room, with car park, opposite the pool. We only stayed one night but the accom was clean and adequate with a kettle, fridge and microwave for snacks.

The good thing, I made up there.

The good thing, I made up there. I went up to the sky tower took a photo of myself and I was happy about it so my advice to all the people out there needs to visit Auckland for a trip yeah go and try everything was good the hotel saff and service was good and lots of fun up there so yeah that's my a comment from Auckland city Thank you so much

We had a fabulous 3 days in Wellington.

We had a fabulous 3 days in Wellington. Visited Zealandia, Te Papa, saw a movie at the Lighthouse cinema, went up the Cable Car and had a walk around the Botanic Gardens, visited the Wellington Museum and finally went to the Opera at St James Theatre. Loved every activity. Favourite museum was Wellington Museum - the perfect setting for the seafaring history of Wellington. So many delicious places to eat in Wellington - we loved The Old Quarter (absolutely delicious), August (most delicious soup), Mr Go's (everything yum!). Plus every Matcha I had in Wellington was perfect! We walked everywhere we wanted to go, and took a local bus to Zealandia. Wellingtonians were all so lovely - had some great chats with very friendly locals!

There is a lot of cool touristy things to do in Rotorua, was also a food truck festival for Matariki when we went which was a bonus! Alot of the attractions are really expensive but I can say most are worth the money. Luge day was awesome family fun, and Eat Street a nice vibe with overpriced but ok for a holiday beer and food ( honestly the smallest burger patty I have ever paid for, but yolo). Parking free on weekends and public holidays ( at least thats what 2 sources told me!), went back to the car saturday morning to find out they charge from 9am until 12, still waiting for my fine to come in the mail, thanks Rotorua council! Beautiful spot though still a solid recommend for a weekend away.

Lots of places to see and it didn't have to cost a fortune. Many free bushwalks and beautiful scenery. Many places to eat to suit all budgets and it was easy to get around. The lake is magnificent with surrounding mountains and it didn't feel busy or rushed as cities do.

Enjoyed Classic Car Museum again, Was looking forward to Zoo, but was disappointed, Could be a lot better with more signage, arrows etc. Lots of animals couldn't find or couldn't see, Map was useless. Enjoyed the Hamilton Gardens apart from the price.

A beautiful city with an amazing coastline - pretty skies with a cozy city centre right nearby. The perfect mix of hustle and bustle! Quite cold in winter in the mornings and night but warms up during the day when the sun is out :)

Have to make sure that the weather is good before you decide...

Have to make sure that the weather is good before you decide to go. Book the accomodate that is with free cancellation, as if the weather is bad, then there is nothing much you can do there. In summer, hiking the tongariro, in winter, go ski.

Handy for the adventurer. Skiing, mountain biking and hiking is all there. Horopito museum, wonderful place to visit even if cars aren’t your thing Plenty of eateries in town. Always a great atmosphere when the snow is falling. Can’t wait to go back

We spent most of our time at the Arena as we were down for a National Indoor Bowls tournament. It was a fantastic venue. We had a meal at the Cossie Club, brilliant and great value. Palmerston North is an easy city to drive around and we appreciated the broad streets. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The local bars are all very good especially the Tipsy Oyster fantastic service and the food is awesome 👌 even in the rain couldn't spoil that place catching the ferry to Russell is always good fun Pihia isn't big so walking everywhere is fine
