Enjoyed Classic Car Museum again, Was looking forward to...

Enjoyed Classic Car Museum again, Was looking forward to Zoo, but was disappointed, Could be a lot better with more signage, arrows etc. Lots of animals couldn't find or couldn't see, Map was useless. Enjoyed the Hamilton Gardens apart from the price.

As we gathered for a family 80th birthday we had a...

As we gathered for a family 80th birthday we had a restaurant meal out before and takeaways later; but were able to mingle and catch up with others at the house . The next day we did the Hamilton gardens followed by a visit to the Hamilton Zoo...both of which we highly recommend!! 😀

Hamilton is a great little town.

Hamilton is a great little town. We stayed there because it was closer to Hobbiton, the Blue Springs and the glow worm caves. We loved being able to fly directly to Hamilton from Australia. It was a perfect short stay with a ton of restaurants and cafes, and very walkable.

We enjoyed being 'tourists' and seeing some fantastic locations. Hamilton Gardens was top of our priorities and we could have spent all day there but unfortunately we ran out of time. Hobbiton was another 'must go' to place. 2 hours of walking through the Hobbiton village with a wonderful tour guide. I had never watched the movies but wanted to see it and now I will be watching the movies. Shopping was wonderful and we all got some very good bargains. Will be going back again sometime.

Hamilton is a great place - maybe not the inner city, as it's becoming a worn-out, old, tired place - the buildings in the inner city prove it. Some rebuilding is underway, which is good. There is a good variety of places to eat and beautiful outdoor stuff to do - the lake is good, parks and walks are fantastic. Overall, a worthwhile place to visit and stay. The northern suburbs are beautiful and full of life. Still a good nightlife for young people, with lots of choice in eateries of all nationalities. For those looking for material shops, I love Hamilton shops. Decorations places are tops as well - my husband went car shopping and loved the variety.

We arrived for check in... he was very prompt communicated well, signed paperwork, he gave key for room we took elevator level2 our room was immaculate I would recommend anyone to visited great price, all types of city restaurants down stairs. Buses are easy to access, you may wanna get a bee card for cheaper travel. Every shop in walking distance, kmart, food courf, chemist warehouse, library and many more, great second hand shop down stairs too. Great place you deserve it

Very spacious and comfortable with everything that you need. It was really well set up for self catering if that is what you want. Bedrooms were comfortable with spacious separate bathrooms. Comfortable living room and an extra large kitchen. Good private outdoor space. Location was excellent for us. Close to the bike track and Hamilton gardens. Excellent supermarket a couple of minutes walk away.
