Welcome to our home at English Cherry Tree Manor. Paul and Anne are the hosts. Feel comfortable in the spacious 1930s timber home of big rooms. The 5-acre garden has drystone walls, ponds, 15m heated pool (seasonal), hottub (on request in advance), livestock (alpacas), wildlife and goldfish in the pond. English Cherry Tree Manor hosts the Waikato Cherry Tree Festival. Many thousands attend each year. The host Paul is from Britain and has been designing and building this English garden for over 30 years. It was a paddock previously. Now it has all different kinds of flowers. There is always something flowering. Paul is from Northern England, where drystone walls cover the countryside and, so, the drystone walls he has built remind him of home. This old style house was moved in five pieces from Auckland in the 1990s. The house has high ceilings, wood floors and leaded glass windows. A concession to modern living is that each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom.

Paul, from the UK, is the gardener and there are very extensive gardens ( 5 acers) to wander. Anne is the main person to look after you during your stay and will be only too happy to assist. Anne, from Beijing, and an ex professional basketball player and journalist, speaks English and Mandarin. Paul and Anne love to meeting people from different countries and sharing their stories and cultures during their stay.

English Cherry Tree Manor is located out of city but only 10 minutes away from Hamilton center. Beautiful Hamilton garden is only 5 minutes away by driving.
