Met by Tash on arrival who is very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for an early morning flight from Hamilton Airport. Very rural, quiet and attractive surroundings and the room had everything we needed. The breakfast was very substantial with 4 different cereals, toast and croissants and jams etc, 4 different types of tea and instant and brewed coffee. The shower was large and very good, and bathroom stocked with lots of extra touches. The room was elevated with a lovely rural view and warm and very tidy and tasteful. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Would stay again, and I see that you loan bicycles, which could be a good thing to do next time.

The hosts went over and above to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We cannot speak highly enough of them. The accommodation was immaculate with ample towels provided, extra bedding available if needed and complimentary toiletries. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that could be needed to make a meal as well as cleaning products and tea towels. Breakfast foods and a variety of snacks and beverages were provided as complimentary The setting was idyllic, quiet and peaceful with a variety of birdlife to observe and cows grazing in nearby paddocks. It was an exceptional stay with exceptional hosts.

What a wonderful retreat with an exceptionally gracious, generous and hospitable host. The beautifully decorated ensuite room was large with a luxurious bed with quality linen and white, soft and engulfing towels .We had the best nights sleep. There was safe parking right outside the door. Margaret, our host was friendly, welcoming and provided lots of very useful tourist advice (local and further afield). Our breakfast was superb. We can highly recommend this property and the wonderful host, Margaret. Thank you so much.

Cambridge is a very pretty town - especially in Autumn when...

Cambridge is a very pretty town - especially in Autumn when the trees are covered with golden leaves. There is a great farmers market on Saturday mornings. The Town Hall has a fantastic programme of concerts and arts events. There is a nice range of restaurants and bars. The high street has lots of interesting shops. They are very into cycling (check out the velodrome) and horses. I stayed for three nights over a weekend, which was good, to have a look around. If you have longer, in a nice place to stay, you could really unwind.

I most liked that it was very tastefully decorated and presented we met the hosts and they were very helpful if we had questions. They left us in our own space and we enjoyed that having good privacy.

The Saturday market could be so much better, it could be...

The Saturday market could be so much better, it could be famous !! - its needs to grow. It has a great location. Bring in local colthing outlets and mark down prices to attract the Aucklanders looking for a bargain and an easy weekend away option. Theme the whole thing in the French weekend market style and it will fly. The local resturants are on point too.

Spent 6 Days there at A Farm Forestry Conference in the Town...

Spent 6 Days there at A Farm Forestry Conference in the Town Hall, various up-market dining facilities, plus touring to see giant redwod and other specialist trees, plus tall native forest and lovely farms. Town was a delight with its big Autumn coloured English Trees and History. Lots of main street cafes and shops.

Lovely town - good cafes.

Lovely town - good cafes. Semi-Rural, servicing a big farming/Horse Stud community, with an International standard Cycling Velodrome and nearby Lake Karapiro for NZ Canoeing, rowing and swimming events. Located only 15 minutes from the big City of Hamilton, Cambridge is a very pretty place - great facilities for kids to enjoy, and has everything you need for a short stay.

We were there overnight for a purpose, the Great Waikato British Seagull Adventure, rather than to visit Cambridge itself, but the heart of it is a pleasant little old town and there are a number of things to see and do in the general area, ask Mr. Google!

We stayed in a disability room, this was the best laid out disability room we have ever stayed in. Everything was at a good height, the rails were appropriately placed and lots of room for walker and wheelchair to manoeuvre. Beds were super comfy and even though it is on the edge of Cambridge it is right beside a well stocked supermarket.
