Micky and Ursula are our hosts and we are 3 social entrepreneurs testing a business model for funding native forest regeneration and biodiversity work.

Property info

You’ll find us on 8 hectares of retired farmland in Pukerua Bay, just 35mins drive from central Wellington. Set just above the epic escarpment track, the views are truly magical. We are testing accommodation as a way to fund native forest regeneration and other biodiversity projects. Come stay and help us plant some native trees! Access from our carpark is via our 4wd or it's a 20min walk to the domes. Guests are unable to drive to the domes. No parties but we love a good celebration. The Gallery Dome is set 160m along and 23m down a track from the drop off and pick up point. It can be steep in places. If you think this might be a challenge access wise we suggest booking the Nook.

Neighborhood info

The Escarpment track runs along the front of the property and is one of NZ's great short walks. Kapiti Island is a superb day trip and we're happy to arrange bookings. We have other recommendations too
