Welcome to the Greytown Farmhouse - a renovated farmhouse in the heart of the Wairarapa. The Farmhouse is a ten minute walk into Greytown and close to Martinborough, making it a great place to live, work, and play and a perfect base to enjoy all the region has to offer.
Updates include double glazing, floor, wall and ceiling insulation, a heat pump and HRV and on chilly nights, we've a woodstove to keep you cozy.
With almost an acre of land, a soccer field and basketball net, trampoline, secret children's fort and a rope swing, free bikes and scooters for checking out the trails, and fruit trees galore, our farm is a great place to play for active families or for couples to retreat to in the countryside. And for rainy days, our built-in home entertainment system and DVD player / Chromecast/Xbox and HD projector or just old-school board games will keep everyone happy.
We are a great fit for the night, weekend or great base for exploring the region over a couple of weeks. And, if you're renovating or moving house and need something longer term (eg. a few months), get in touch - we'll see what we can do!
The main house sleeps six, and we’re almost finished a log home glamping sleepout so get in touch if you’ve larger group.

We are a family of four, originally from Canada, landed here in beautiful Aotearoa, New Zealand. My wife and I are avid mountain runners and enjoy living on the edge in windy Wellington. We love the natural beauty, bounty and ruggedness of this country, and hope you feel the same after your stay.

We are ~10 min walk into town or a quick 5 min bike and easy drive to the local Fresh Choice Supermarket. There are heaps of local pubs, restaurants and coffee shops within walking or biking distance. And Greytown's cute shopping district is full of bookshops, clothing shops and antique stores. The local FREE outdoor pool is a 10 minute walk down the road and Wairarapa's famous wine district is a short drive away in Martinborough and Masterton.
