Nestled on the lake’s edge at Butchers Dam, this naturally beautiful 8 acre property is comprised of mature landscaped gardens, orchards, pastures and historic landmark sites. Bordered by the Dept. of Conservation Flat Top Hill Conservation Area, Lye Bow is home to abundant bird life and offers easy access to locally renowned walking and mountain biking trails. Sited at the heart of Central Otago, Lye Bow is the ideal epicentre for your holiday or stopping off point on the way through; just minutes from Alexandra and Clyde, 25 minutes to Cromwell or Ophir, an hour to Queenstown airport or Wanaka, and just over 2 hours to Dunedin or Invercargill. Lye Bow is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or family holiday.

Audrey moved from Auckland to Central Otago after falling in love with the region. Tim is farm bred enjoys the great mix of a rural lifestyle close to town. In their words; "We feel truly fortunate to be at Lye Bow and we see ourselves as its current guardians, lucky to live here, endeavouring to maintain, restore, and improve it where we can. We are passionate about Lye Bow; being true to its past, care-taking the ancient trees and gardens and sharing it with as many as we can. Our vision is to offer a restful retreat for healing and rejuvenation." Today you will find them enjoying the company of guests, sharing their gardens and home, or out and about exploring the beauty of Central Otago.
