We enjoy the many bush walks around the area as well as getting out on the water. We are not intrusive but are prompty available if needed. We know our area well and are always happy to help out with advise on great things to see and do. Often available for airport or intercity bus pick ups.

Generally a peaceful neighbourhood with lots of walkers and water activity. Always something happening out on the water - kayakers, waka ama training, yacht races, windsurfers, fishing boats, fishermen and swimmers off the jetty.. At the entrance of the Whangarei Heads - great bush walks and amazing beaches. 45 min drive to the diving mecca of Tutukaka and another host of fantastic beaches. Suburban shopping centre including supermarket a few minutes drive. Whangarei city area 10-15 min drive depending on time of the day. Stadium is a 10 min drive - sports and concerts. Abbey Caves is about 10-15 min drive, Whangarei Falls is 20 mins away. Lots of golf courses around, the closest one The Pines is about 10 mins drive. Heads Up Adventure Park is about 2km away for biking, monster scooters or just coffee with a fabulous view. Ask about our neighbouring apartments for accommodation a larger group but allowing privacy.
