The location is only a few minutes drive from Dargaville. It's very quiet and peaceful and you can really relax. It's a good size place for a couple, with room to spread out. Great host and super clean. The breakfast supplies are also good quality.

Central pubs meals are fantastic value and absolutely delicious. The RSA was very welcoming and friendly. Dargaville is a lovely welcoming town with a fabulous museum, lovely historic buildings and very lovely friendly people. Everyone was very kind.

We were only there overnight, stayed at Nellie's Nest, very comfy, and had takeaways from Thai Restaurant, delicious. Would have liked to look at more of the town as there were a few points of interest but we were on a tight schedule.

Kai Iwi Lake which is located 30 minutes by car is so beautiful. Supahn Thai Restaurant in Dargavill is very nice. There is countdown and warehouse in Dargavill and we can prepare the enjoy at the lake or hiking at Kauri park.

Dargaville is a great town.

Dargaville is a great town. Shopping centre is reasonably comprehensive. You need to research things to do. In summer Kai Iwi lakes is a great place to visit, swim, launch your boat ( if you have one) stay in the camping ground or just pitch your own tent. There are plenty of cafes and eating establishments. Research the area and things to do in the area before you go.

Our hosts were very welcoming and helpfful. Their place is nestled in the hills near Dargaville with beautiful views over rolling hills from the cabin. A short walk down the road there are great views of the Northern Wairoa river. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed.We enjoyed the raw milk and homegrown grapes provided. Dargaville has a great museum and the tractor and machinery museum is a must for those of us with a farming background.

Fantastic property - if you have to stay overnight in Dargaville, this is the property to stay. New - super clean - amazing host. Do not book in motels / hotel - this is it, central to everything and includes parking. Working heat pump, great water pressure, quiet. I cannot fault it at all.
