Waitangi Holiday Park provides an ideal base to explore Northland and the Bay of Islands. Located on the banks of the Waitange River, it is close to Te Tii Bay and local beaches. This holiday park is within walking distance to the Paihia village and a short ferry trip to Russell. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes' walk away. Within 10 minutes' walk is the Historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds where you can discover how New Zealand began in 1840. There are communal bathrooms, and a shared kitchen and dining area. There are laundry facilities, free gas BBQs, and an outdoor dining area. The communal lounge area includes free-to-air TV channels. Guests have access to laundry. Bed linen is available for hire.

“Fantastic Park. We had 2 bunkhouses next door to each other and they were fab; comfy beds, excellent cooking facilities, plates, crockery etc. Central kitchen/washing up room always spotlessly clean, BBQs were great to be able to use.”

Te Tii GP Limited pursuant to the Companies Act 1993 is the custodian company that contains the Board of Directors and provides governance to Te Tii Limted Partnership. Te Tii Limited Partnership pursuant to the Limited Partnerships Act 2008 contains the ground lease with Te Tii (Waitangi) B3 Trust and has granted a sub-lease to General Distributors Limited who operates the Countdown Waitangi supermarket.

Property info

Waitangi's most centrally located Holiday Park in the Bay of Islands. The campgrounds and caravan park is conveniently located a short flat walk along the Te Ti Bay shoreline to Paihia town and is central to all tourist attractions. Waitangi Treaty Grounds, Tii Beach and a boat ramp are adjacent to the Park. The campsite is large and flat, located on the banks of the Waitangi River and perfect for pitching a tent for a spot of camping or for those with a motorhome too.

Walk to the supermarket, beach, adventure world, bush walks and the Waitangi Golf Course. The Waitangi mountain bike trail and historic Russell are some of the must do attractions on offer in this Northland region of New Zealand along with sailing, dolphin and whale watching or a trip through the famous Hole in the Rock or up to Cape Reinga and 90 mile beach.
