It was beautiful, peaceful, clean & spacious. Leanne & Geoff were so welcoming & helpful. Leanne shared some of their home grown delicious fruit & vegetables. See picture. Geoff drove Dan to pick up our rental. Anything we needed they were there to help. Awesome!! Close to town but far enough away!

The location is exceptional: beautiful park with sculptures, a big variety of tree and plants, an art gallery, quiet, close to the center of town, hikes, and historic sites. The cottage had a bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom, and a big deck. It was very private. We got to meet and have conversation with the owners (and visiting family). We felt welcome and invited. Maha restaurant, on the premises, was excellent, with gourmet food, serene and tastefully decorates.

We stayed five nights at Kerikeri Park Lodge, which is ideally located close to the town centre. The Old Packhouse Café is just a short walk away, along with the Friday night Street Food Market and the Saturday and Sunday markets. We had connecting rooms, both of which were spacious, clean, and well appointed. The kitchens were fully equipped and included a good selection of teas and coffee. The large bathrooms featured showers and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo, body wash, moisturiser, and towels. Despite having many guests coming and going during our stay, the property was very quiet and peaceful. JL, the proprietor, was extremely welcoming on arrival and made a genuine effort to learn our names. Whenever he saw us, he would stop to say hello and check how our stay was going. Kerikeri Park Lodge is also well positioned for exploring the wider region, including Cape Reinga, Paihia, Waitangi, Russell, Whangārei, the Hokianga Harbour towns, and Waipu. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kerikeri Park Lodge.

We tried 5 taxi companies only one would take a booking they wanted $100 each way for a 10 minute trip ??????? 3 other taxi companies were not operating, and the last company would only do the airport run even though we offered to pay more money. There is no Uber either So if we went out one of us had to be the sober driver

The people in Kerikeri were so friendly and helpful.

The people in Kerikeri were so friendly and helpful. They were very keen to direct us to the places of interest, for example the Stone Store. There were lots of cafes and restaurants that served up scrumptious food. There is no doubt that we will be visiting Kerikeri again soon.

Kerikeri, is much larger than when we were here years ago it has all that you need and more. Clothes, shoes, coffee shops. Easy to find your way around. We had dinner at The Chang Siam, Thai food which was superb a very tasteful restaurant in all ways. The staff were excellent.

Whilst Kerikeri does not have a beach and only a few estuary views, it is a lovely town that is now the second largest in lower Far North of NZ. Many new houses have been established with lovely gardens a nice street precinct. There is also the old Stone House & missionary Kemp Family house & restaurant, the old Packhouse Market complex with Sunday farmer's market. Berry farms & avocado orchards, ice cream & chocolate factory and we visited the local Winestore for a tasting that stocks so many premium NZ and Aussie & European wines. It is certainly a buzzing town with plenty of tradespeople too.

We like Kerikeri because there are plenty of place to see locally and a good choice of Cafes and restaurants. The Marsden winery is a must for lunch with a great menu and outlook. The chocolate factory at the end of the township in Makana is also a must to do. Free samples on arrival and preboxed chocolates of your choice to buy either for yourself or as a gift

A beautiful home/property with a homely and cozy feel. Alot of space and very comfortable for my big family of 8 adults. It was close to our event and within 5 mins to the township so super convenient location. The hosts are wonderful and very accommodating, always checking in with us to make sure we were OK. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone needing accommodation in Kerikeri. We will definitely be staying here again.

I thought it was a top class two night experience. It met all my expectations, and made my stay in Kerikeri memorable. My only comment is it would have been nice to have face to face contact with someone.
