HOT SPA, kayaks, bikes. Early entry and late departure negotiable. Only 45 mins to Whakapapa, Ruapehu. Down on the spit & only 1 min from the lake. Soak in the ready-&-waiting hot spa especially after the cold dips in the lake. Our place can ideally accommodate max 8, depending on adult-child ratio: see options & negotiate w owner. Two toilets, two showers. Suits extended families & mature groups: max 8-10. Hassle-free heat pump in winter. We boast luxury/romance/fun. Our boutique accommodation is far more than a bach. We pride ourselves in cleanliness, service, & child-friendly facilities. NUMBER 10 features the demands of winter & summer. With the comforts of home, it is suitable as a base for those wishing to snow/water ski, fish, boat, swim, walk, entertain & relax. We are a popular destination all year round: quiet serenity in the off season, to the buzz of holiday spirit in the high season. Also ideal for the Tongariro Crossing anytime, with possible pickup. Welcome to our listing. Number 10 - Kuratau has been our family paradise for the past decade and we love to share it with others. We know you will have a wonderful stay & enjoy the many comforts & additional facilities that we & the area offers. Kuratau can be very quiet and sleepy in the off season while there can be a hive of activity in the summer. If it is an old-fashioned holiday away from commercialism that you are seeking, this is a great place to begin. There are many walks available around Kuratau not to mention the mountain, 45 minutes away and Taupo the same in the other direction should you be wanting a day of shopping! Tokaanu Pools are 15 minutes away although our spa offers a hot relaxing experience as well. The lake is a safe swimming space for all plus a popular spot for boating, skiing and kayaking.
