At Ohope Beach Resort we have the Pacific Ocean (best beach in NZ) across the road on one boundary and the Ohiwa Harbour on our other boundary for all the water sports one could wish to partake in. Ohope regularly records the most sunshine hours annually in New Zealand

Ohope Beach Resort is unique in NZ with our facilities, three pools, two spa pools, petanque court, tennis court, gymnasium and games room.

Neighborhood info

As previously mentioned we have the ocean and the harbour which allow for numerous walks, The Whakatane region is renown for is various walk-ways through native bush and Kiwi reserves, harbour walks through well established bird sanctuaries. The Ohope International Golf Course is recognised as one of New Zealand's premier links courses. If fishing is your game, I need say no more, we are surrounded by water.
