Beautiful location atop of Ohope Heights with gorgeous views!! Fabulous patio area in front of unit. Spacious for 2 people: 2 bedrooms + bathroom + living room + patio area Cookies, fresh fruit available, coffee and tea upon arrival. Delicious breakfast including pastries, croissants, bread, preserves, yogurt, fresh fruit, orange juice, chocolate milk. Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Very clean! Kitchen well-stocked. We were here one night; 4:30pm - 10am.

The motel was charmingly quaint, with everything one could need. Peaceful, the location away from traffic and village life was ideal and to be able to hear and watch the sea and surf from the kitchen window and our little sun court was magic. It was spotlessly clean , bed and pillows were very comfortable and the owners very pleasant to deal with. We did add another night on to our stay. We will be back !

The proximity to the ocean.

The proximity to the ocean. The comfortable beds and the peaceful atmosphere. Coffee shop in walking distance had the best coffee and reasonably priced. The hosts even offered us bikes at no extra expense

My stay was a bit short, also had a bit of a mishap so didnt get time to make the most of the beach but managed to get a few pics which were stunning. Will have to come back sometime in the future for alot longer

Beautiful beach area with all the wants of a travellers...

Beautiful beach area with all the wants of a travellers passing through or staying a for a while. Lovely cafes, restaurants and arts and crafts shops on the main street, parks for families and of course the stretch of beach from West End to the Ohope Wharf for fishing.

Ohope Beach is perfect!

Ohope Beach is perfect! Great for long walks or biking, surfing and swimming. The beach is also patrolled by life guards. There is a great cafe, Moki, which does great coffee and food with good service. It is relatively quiet which is great if you want a very relaxing weekend. Lots of people on the beach just chilling. There is an excellent bush walk from the bottom of the hill at Ohope beach. Whakatane is a 5 minute drive over the hill if you want to go shopping or have a walk along the river. Try the best fish and chips in NZ from Gibbos on the wharf in Whakatane.

On arrival Frank was exceptional with welcoming us and showing us the facilities and how to use them. The spa, and sauna are a highlight of the impressive amenities. The villa is a beautiful, modern space with everything you need in a kitchen and a stylish, fully tiled bathroom. Located a short two minute walk from Ohope beach. The breakfast included was very impressive! Extensive options from bacon, eggs to yoghurt and berries. Thanks for the stay!

The location was great, super close to the beach and walking distance to the Ohope shops. The rooms were clean and were presented beautifully. The facilities were good. The room was warm and the beds were very conformable. I wish we could've stayed longer. I would highly recommend the Ohope Beach Motel. Thank you
