Waiheke Island's Oneroa Chalet is a well loved fully self contained cottage bathed in all day sun, surrounded by palm trees and a Mediterranean-style walled courtyard. You can enjoy a glass of wine while sitting out in a garden area, amongst bird life. The chalet is comfortably furnished, and including TV, air conditioning, heating, with a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and stovetop (please note there is no oven). If you prefer not to cook, you are just a short walk to the main village of Oneroa featuring a great variety restaurants, cafes and bars, Three beautiful swimming beaches with boating and fishing are within a few minutes’ walk. Bed Configuration: Bedroom 1 - queen bed.
The arts theatre and movie theatre are at the top of the road. All commuter and tour buses stop 2 doors away at the top of Kuaka Road. Matiatia wharf is a 15 minute walk or 2 minute bus or taxi ride. From Oneroa Village you can connect to commuter buses, sight-seeing buses, private cab tours of the Island, or book vineyard tours. Alison Park, across the road from Oneroa Chalet, has sculptures and native trees attracting beautiful native birds. Oneroa Chalet is very central in Oneroa, conveniently tucked away down a side street - a perfect base from which to explore the world class wineries, go on interesting walks, swim at beautiful beaches and wander the charming village of Oneroa, on this exquisite Hauraki Gulf Island.
