Set on a large country estate with sweeping gardens and panoramic views of the Wairarapa wine-growing region, Parehua Resort features an open-air bar and fine dining restaurant. All accommodations at Parehua Resort Martinborough has been individually designed, with artwork and furnishings by New Zealand designers. Each cottage and villa includes a fireplace, open-plan living spaces and a fully equipped kitchen. Satellite TV is provided. The large bathrooms have under-floor heating, walk-in shower and large spa bath. York Bistro has comfortable sofas and a log fire on cooler days. Serving the finest in Wairarapa produce and local wines, it offers an unrivaled gourmet experience. Enjoy a game of tennis or a swim in the outdoor pool (summer only). Guests can relax by the private lake with jetty. There are vineyards within a 2-minute drive. Martinborough town center is only a 5-minute drive away.

The 28 room Parehua Resort was originally built in 2005. In late 2021 they left the Peppers brand (Accor) and are now a privately owned property still delivering top class service and facilities. The team pride themselves on their excellent customer service, the cleanliness of the Resort as well as the local food and wine. Neighborhood info

Martinborough in the Wairarapa is famous for it's wineries. Jump on a bike from here or one of the vendors in town or do a traditional wine tour in a vehicle. Outside of wine there is plenty of great cafes and restaurants in the village. If you feel like being a bit more adventurous be sure to check out the Patuna Chasm walk located around 20mins drive from Martinborough. In the right season be sure to check out the amazing Lavender fields. Look up the local events which are on throughout the year including Toast Martinborough and the Martinborough Fair. Take a visit to the nearby towns of Ngawi Fishing Village, Cape Palliser (lighthouse and seals), Castlepoint (beach and lighthouse), Carterton, Greytown, Featherston and Masterton.
