Every detail has been carefully considered to give you the most comfortable, effortless stay at Lake Tekapo, in the spectacular Mackenzie Country. It’s beautifully furnished, thoughtfully equipped, and, to be honest, pretty hard to beat. Upstairs is where the magic happens. The open-plan living, dining & kitchen space is light, welcoming and perfectly set up for relaxed days & long, cosy evenings. You’ll find all the essentials; plus the extras you actually want, like a Nespresso machine for that morning coffee and slow cooker to come home to after a day on the ski slopes. Slide open the doors to a sunny deck to soak up panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. There’s a super-king bedroom upstairs, along with a separate toilet and beautiful bathroom complete with a large walk-in shower and a gorgeous bathtub just waiting for you to unwind in. Gas hot water means you will never run out. Downstairs, you’ll find three more generous super-king bedrooms, separate toilet and spacious wheelchair-friendly bathroom. The accessible bedroom is also equipped with a kettle, toaster, sink & mini-fridge. There’s a laundry tucked away on the ground level to make longer stays super easy, as well as storage for skis and outdoor equipment, including a heated drying cupboard for days spent at the local ski areas. Whether you enjoy a relaxed breakfast on the deck or a long soak in the bath after a day exploring, Rabbiters Run is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to. The perfect retreat for couples or groups who want space, comfort, and unbeatable views. Please note, the upper level of the home cannot be accessed by wheelchairs.
