Ridley Manor is an alpine themed house with stunning views up to Mt Ruapehu from the master suite and lower living room/kitchen. With a vaulted ceiling, wood burning fire, soft throws, cushions, bean bags, and a super king bed, this property invites you to unwind and relax. A private hot tub in the closed, private courtyard is the perfect way to ease your body after a long day travelling or a busy day exploring the region.
There are two locked off rooms in the downstairs area, and another room upstairs with an unmade bed. Your nightly rate does not include this second bedroom.
Hello, and welcome to Ridley Manor.
Your hosts are Eileen and Stu. We have been welcoming guests since 2017. Travel is something we both really enjoy and look forward to doing more of. We know what we look for when booking accommodation, so we consciously work to make sure our guests have everything they may need while away from home.
I (Eileen), do like to call in once you have checked-in and settled to ensure you are comfortable, and have everything you need. I am also happy to offer recommendations for things to do and places to eat.

Ridley Manor is located in a quiet residential street with spectacular views of Mt Ruapehu (on a clear day). We are a 20 minute drive to the Turoa ski field. You are within walking distance to nearby cafes and restaurants. The train station is also within walking distance.
Visiting to walk 'The Tongariro Crossing'? You can catch a shuttle from the street corner (needs to be organised). Ohakune is on the boundary of the Tongariro National Park so there is a vast selection of beautiful, scenic forest walks and mountain biking trails to be enjoyed by all levels.
The Whanganui River, and all the river adventures available are also within close proximity. Whether you are doing a day trip or choose to use us as your base at the end of the 3/4 day river trip. What ever brings you to Ohakune, Ridley Manor is the perfect stop for your little escape.
