Our favorite ways to spend time are exploring bush walks, finding swimming holes, and enjoying nature around Ohakune and the mountain. Being family-orientated ourselves, we wanted to create a place where other families can escape, relax, and experience this special part of New Zealand. Tucked away on peaceful Burns Street in Ohakune, our holiday rental sits right on the river’s edge, offering a quiet and relaxing escape with uninterrupted mountain views. Guests love the spacious backyard, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. A short 5-minute bush walk takes you into the town center of Ohakune where you’ll find local cafés, restaurants, and shops. In just 10 minutes on foot you can reach the iconic Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park, home to the famous giant carrot landmark and a fun playground for families. Surrounded by nature and nestled in a very quiet neighborhood, the property offers a peaceful base to enjoy the beauty of the nearby Mount Ruapehu and the wider Tongariro National Park region. 🌿🏔️
