Rose Lodge is situated on the beautiful Mahurangi East peninsular overlooking the harbour. It is a fabulous weekend getaway or a week long stay to explore the local hidden gems. There is on-site designated private parking for guests with an easy check-in and check-out process so you can come and go as you please. There is a private balcony that you can have breakfast, read a book or watch the colourful sunsets.

Heritage Scott House and Scotts Landing beach are 5 minutes away. There are many walks right on our doorstep around the Mahurangi Peninsula. So many attractions are 10 to 45 mins away. Martins Bay beach is 10 minutes away. It’s a great beach to walk, swim and have picnics. Scandrett's Regional Park with all its marvellous walks and hikes is 12 minutes away. It’s full of history from when it was a working farm. The town of Matakana is a 20 minute drive away. The Farmers Market on a Saturday morning has a huge variety of local produce. There are many wineries, breweries, cafes and restaurants. Tāwharanui Regional Park is an easy 45 minute drive. There are so many places to walk, trek, swim, surf, rock pools, and picnic areas. Omaha 30 mins. Great cafes and the beach is world renowned for its beauty. Goat island, an easy 40 minute drive away, is a marine reserve. It offers snorkelling, diving, glass bottom boat rides, swimming and walking. Warkworth township is 20 minutes away and offers shopping, cafes, restaurants and a local library.
