Ruru House is a contemporary open plan design consisting of kitchen, dining, lounge area, three bedrooms, set into the north facing ridge full of manuka and kanuka, directly behind Medlands Beach this is ultimate luxury accommodations. The house has lovely timber floors with bedrooms at each end. The living and dining area is connected to front and back deck making the most of the eastly sea view and views west into the mountains. The rural setting with sea views makes this location truly a slice of paradise. One of the bedrooms has large ensuite, with the other two bedrooms next to a large wet room bathroom. The house has walk around decks to the front and a secluded deck and lawn for intimate bbq's to the rear. All Parts of the house are open to you. A fireplace sets the perfect environment to relax in the colder months, with comfortable chairs and couch to lounge in along with a large outdoor shower which greets you from the beach after a session in water. Washing machine, dryer and Wifi, a smart TV and Sono's sound system are all available for guest use. The name Ruru is inspired by the Ruru (Morepork) that frequent the property and often can be seen catching the Green Puriri moth off the front deck!
