Perfect cute little rural cabin for anyone needing somewhere to stay for a weekend or even a few nights, a great getaway with a lovely outlook onto fruit trees and farmland. Please enquire if you would like to bring pets with you :) This cabins consist of 2 separate accommodation options. A one bedroom apartment style cabin with a double bed and fold out sofa bed, and one studio style cabin with one queen bed. Both have private basic kitchenettes and a private bathroom. Road Noise - The cabins are located just off the highway, generally you can’t hear the road too much but sometimes it is noticeable, this is significantly quieter at night. It has been a very hot summer so we have just invested in an air conditioning unit for Cabin 1 which is in the main bedroom, the outlet needs to go out the ranch slider at the moment - details will be provided upon booking. There is NO AIR CON IN CABIN 2. There is a nice lawn/garden area with fruit trees right outside, a perfect spot for a picnic or relax.

We live locally and the cabins are located on our family farm, we all work on the farm and love the lifestyle.

Just a short drive away, Muriwai Beach is a standout local attraction, famous for its dramatic black sand coastline, rugged cliffs and the seasonal gannet colony. It’s perfect for beach walks, surfing, photography and unforgettable sunsets. Outdoor lovers will also enjoy nearby Woodhill Forest, offering mountain biking, walking trails and horse trekking. Waimauku village provides everyday essentials along with cafés (Full Moon Cafe is great), local eateries and wineries (Highly recommend the Hunting Lodge), while nearby Kumeū and Huapai are well known for their wine scene and weekend markets. The area is peaceful and spacious, making it ideal for guests wanting to unwind, explore nature, or use as a base to experience Auckland’s west coast and countryside.
