Wake to sunrise over the Pisa Range, unwind beneath some of New Zealand’s clearest starry skies, and enjoy a calm private base between Wānaka, Queenstown, Cromwell and Mount Cook. Your guest area includes two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with a Super King bed, a spacious bathroom with a rain shower and deep bath overlooking the hills, and a comfortable lounge to relax in after a day exploring. The lounge includes a Nespresso machine, tea selection, fridge, toaster, microwave, and kettle for simple meals and easy mornings. Please note there is no full kitchen, so we recommend planning ahead or enjoying the excellent local cafés, wineries, and restaurants nearby. Step outside and enjoy the wide-open views, fresh country air, and peaceful rhythm of rural life. You may meet our friendly dogs Wai and Maggie, Lucy the house cow, and a few curious chooks around the property. If you prefer space from the animals, just let us know. You’re only minutes from local favourites including Tarras Country Café, Māori Point Vineyard, and Cloudy Bay Cellar Door, with Wānaka, Cromwell, and Queenstown all within easy reach. We also run Catch a Fish, offering guided fishing trips on Lakes Wānaka, Hāwea, and Wakatipu. Guests staying with us receive an exclusive discount, just ask us for details. Good to know: You’ll have exclusive use of both guest bedrooms, bathroom, and lounge. The hallway is shared with your hosts. Quiet hours apply from 10pm. The home is maintained to a very high standard, and we ask guests to treat the space with care.

It’s incredibly peaceful here—just you, the fresh country air, and the occasional farm animals for company. For a delicious breakfast or lunch, the Tarras Country Café is just a short drive away, offering great coffee, homemade treats, and hearty meals in a charming rural setting. If you’re in the mood to explore the local wine scene, Māori Point Winery is a must-visit, known for its boutique wines and stunning riverside setting.
