Just one and a half hour drive from Picton, The Portage Resort offers rooms with a private balcony or patio and features stunning views of the Marlborough Sounds.You can relax by the outdoor pool, go fishing from the beach or rocks, hike the Queen Charlotte track, or simply unwind on the grassed areas that surround the hotel. All rooms come with private bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. The Korimako rooms/units and the Tui Terrace rooms have beautiful views over Kenepuru Sound. Portage Restaurant, Cafe & Bar features contemporary New Zealand cuisine and excellent views over the water and is open daily. Snapper Bar & Eatery offers casual waterfront dining for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Local activities can be booked on your behalf including sea kayaking, mussel tours and winery tours from out of Picton.
