Located only a short 8 minute drive from the vibrant coastal town of Raglan, nestled in a quiet rural setting, surrounded by nature, this unique stay offers a relaxing escape from the pace of everyday life while still being close to some of the regions best attractions. Our yurt provides a comfortable glamping style experience. Thoughtfully prepared the space combines the charm of simple living with the comforts needed for a restful stay, The circular design of the yurt creates a calm inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to slow down & relax. Natural light fills the space during the day, while in the evenings the yurt becomes warm & cosy, Many guests enjoy falling asleep to the sounds of nature and waking to bird-song in the morning. Outside the yurt, guests can enjoy the surrounding rural environment, the Alpacas walking by. Sit on the deck enjoy a cup of coffee/tea, read a book in the afternoon sun or unwind in the outside bath after a day of exploring. I love the outdoors, gardening, art, coffee with friends, swimming in the ocean all year round, live music is a big passion as is my whanau and friends. Providing a beautiful place for people to unwind and sharing our stunning wee piece of NZ paradise fills me with gratitude.

Te Uku is a small township 8 min from Raglan. We have a small local shop where you can get most things you may need as well as petrol. Raglan Roast coffee shop next door offering local roasted coffee, a small walk from The Round Tent. Raglan, famous for it's world-class surf break Manu Bay has one of the longest left hand waves n the world. Other beaches to explore are Ngarunui Beach, Whale Bay, Indicators. Raglan has a creative community with great cafes, boutiques, live music, hikes, bike trails, beach walks, yoga, pilates, explore Bridal Veil Falls, Mt Karioi, Harbour walkways or enjoy the sunset over the Tasman sea. With it's black sand beaches, the coastal scenery feels vey wild and natural. The town has a friendly surf-town atmosphere, you may even be lucky enough to spot dolphins or orca in the harbour. Jump off the bridge with the locals. Lots of nooks and cranny's to explore in and around town.
