Relax with the family at our beautiful new house with stunning views out to Kapiti island, and a relaxing ambience.
There is plenty of space here, with 4 bedrooms, (including master with en-suite), and a large, warm, open-plan kitchen/lounge/dining. Lovely outdoor area, including outdoor bath.
'Tranquility on the hill' is situated in a semi-rural area, yet only 10 mins walk from Pukerua Bay station and 15 to beach. Near popular walks. Ideal base for families, not suitable for parties.
My husband and I live with our two children in the lovely community of Pukerua Bay. Before moving to New Zealand, we lived and worked in other countries, including the previous 6 years in the Pacific Islands where our first son was born. We both now work in Wellington, and enjoy our evenings and weekends in the semi-rural community of Pukerua Bay.
We often have someone at home during the day (next door), and will be hapoy to answer sny questions or help in any way we can.
Quiet seaside community with rural outlook. The beach, which is great for swimming and snorkelling in summer, and coastal walks/rock pooling in all year round, is a 15 minute walk down hill.
There are lovely walks in the neighbourhood, including the popular Paekakariki escarpment track which starts just a few minutes walk from our house. We have the best of both worlds here as you feel to be away from it all, but the train station will have you in the city in just 30 mins!
Pukerua Bay has tennis courts, a second hand book shop, dairy (small shop), hairdresser and great local coffee cart near the school.
The nearby towns of Plimmerton to the south, and Paekakariki to the north are popular with visitors (both have numerous cafes and beaches and are one stop on the train).
The property is around a 12 minute walk up a quiet road from Pukerua Bay train station.
If driving, we are around 30 minutes from Wellington, or 15 minutes from Porirua or Paraparaumu.
There is parking for 2-3 cars at the property, including in the garage.
