Welcome to our modern city HOUSE consisting of 3 levels situated in a quiet street with no through traffic in the inner city suburb of Thorndon, right in Wellington City. It's a five minute walk to Parliament and the historic Thorndon Village precinct. Further on are our lovely Botannic Gardens from which you not only enjoy plant collections but amazing views of Wellington City and Harbour and panoramic views of mountains beyond. Take the cable car or walk through Historic houses down to the city. Then enjoy the fabulous shopping or walk along the city to sea walkway and take in the harbour and visit numerous cafes along the way. You will pass or be tempted to visit: Wellington Museum with its seafaring history, Te Papa our National Museum and Art Gallery and follow on to lovely golden sands Oriental Bay. Diversions from this route can include Lambton Quay, Civic Square, Cuba Street and other Character areas. Immerse yourself in Wellington's wonderful cultural offerings. It's all virtually on the doorstep. Access from the house is easy and cost effective. Alternatively, just above the house on Tinakori Hill is a walkway network from which to explore and view more of the City.

We love our house - but currently live out of the city and don't spend as much time there as we would like. This means we can share its charms with others. We have furnished and equipped the TrinketBox to ensure your stay is a comfortable and pleasant one. We love people who treat the house as we would treat houses we visit, with respect and appreciation.

Our neighbourhood is a friendly one with a mixture of residents from all the age ranges. Generally people in our area have professional occupations, or are developing their career pathways. Some young families are also present in this area enabling parents to continue their careers but be handy to home. The end of our street backs on to the Prime Minister's Official Residence and in the immediate area are a number of Diplomatic offices and residences.
