Yes there is WIFI available. We built our home a couple of years ago in the Richmond hills at the end of a lovely quiet road with magnificent views over Richmond, Nelson and the surrounding region. We look to offer a unique little spot where you can relax after a bike ride or a walk in our region. Or after sampling some of Nelson/Tasman regions great wineries and eating establishments. A lovely sunny spot in the afternoon if you want to sit out and enjoy the views over the region. Lovely modern decor throughout with a large king bed and ensuite bathroom and a fully appointed kitchen if you want to cook up a meal. A very modern unit with everything you need for a nights stay or even a week or two. We offer a continental buffet breakfast if requested which will include local produce and locally bought cereals and breads. We look to help you get the most out of our beautiful region. From the deck you can physically see what Tasman has that a lot of regions don't.

We had the intention of my mother coming into the unit to live with us in her older age. She is still in her own home and very independent. So her loss is your gain! We had always thought we would have a bed and breakfast type situation where we could host couples. We have done a bit of travelling ourselves and have come across some great B&B's ourselves. But also know the value of having a bit of space when you are away for a week or a weekend getaway. Our home is attached and if you need any local knowledge information or require company for a gin on the deck in the evening please just knock on the door. We would look forward to hosting you.

The neighbourhood is made up of new homes with a mix of retired people and working families. All of whom are very friendly and are always looking out for others in the area. Very little vehicle movements and a quiet spot where you can see the hussle of life in the distance but none of the noise. Richmond town is 3mins drive down the hill. If you are feeling fit you can walk down to the town centre in 20minutes and a little longer on the way back up the hill. There are walking tracks up in the hills behind with easy access from the property, and even more brilliant views if you get to the lookout spots. Richmond has all the usual shops and plenty of good takeaway places or dinning in options. A Silky Otter Cinema complex also with a Joe's Garage and a new Italian restaurant is on the out skirts of Richmond. The Cheese scones at The Grape Escape cafe are the best in the region. This is also on the outskirts of the main Richmond town. Nelson just a short 10min drive away has plenty to do with the Saturday Market a must if you are new to the region. The centre of New Zealand is a good stroll up from the Botanical Gardens. Again some great eateries to tempt you. (More fine dining than in Richmond) Tasman/Nelson has alot to offer with Abel Tasman National Park only an hour away. The Great Taste Trail is a great bicycle ride and easy to do parts of it each day and return back to your unit each night.
